From T.D.:  I am a college student and an English major. We went over this poem in class and the sexual undertones were never brought up by any class member. However, I do see your point that it could be - especially since Robert Frost usually writes so clearly and this poem was less clear than some others. I don’t think you are way off base with this interpretation and I don’t think it is the only interpretation either. Different views of things make us think more. T.D.
